Vision Statement We are a Roman Catholic intergenerational community of faith centered in the Eucharist and committed to an ongoing and deepening relationship in the Way of Christ.

Welcome to the Parish Website of the Church of Christ the King, a Roman Catholic community located in New Vernon, Morris County, in the Diocese of Paterson, New Jersey, under the guidance of Most Reverend Arthur J. Serratelli. We are a growing parish set in suburban Morris County but with a distinctive rural character.  We have a fairly new Parish Life Center that has enabled us to gather and minister to one another more effectively, and we have also recently renovated our existing Parish Hall and church building.  Our commitment is to be a welcoming parish, inviting all generations to be actively involved in the celebration of our Roman Catholic faith traditions.    We strive to be an initiating community, recognizing that it is a lifelong task for all to be faithful disciples of Jesus.
