Youth Ministry

Welcome to Christ the King Youth Ministry
(Last Webpage Update: 8/5/10)

Above are our Confirmation Candidates - April 25, 2009

The Youth Ministry process offers ongoing faith formation through which adolescents and their families live out their baptismal call within the life of the parish.

There are three goals for Youth Ministry:
  • To empower our young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
  • To draw our young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Church through our parish community.
  • To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person within our caring Christian community of Christ the King Parish.

Youth Ministry provides opportunities for high school age teens and junior high school age teens to grow in their faith within the the following components: catechesis, leadership development, justice & service, evangelization, community life, advocacy, prayer & worship and pastoral care & healing.

To learn more about all the programs that come under the umbrella of Youth Ministry and to learn more about Youth Ministry in general, scroll down and view.  Some pages will require that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  This is free software that can be downloaded from the internet.
